Van Dorst Transport is founded in 1911 by Janus van Dorst.
Road transport in those times was still done by horse and carriage. We have developed our company through the transport of charcoal and earth in the beginning, since the seventies we are mainly devoted to international transport.
Since 1979 Ad van Dorst, the son of Tieu van Dorst is in charge of the company. He has developed the company to what it is now. Van Dorst Transport is a real family business, also the son of Ad, Martijn has been working in the company since 1997.
